Classic Heavy Metal with modern loops & samples

 MANIAC SAINT from Vienna/Austria plays a broad range of heavy metal to progressive metal in a four man formation (vocal, guitar, bass, drums). Their songs are strongly guitar driven and rhythm accentuated. With many doublebass sequences on half-& double time feeling and without unnecessary guitar solos – just as raw as it is -100% power.

In addition to that, they enrich some of their songs with a huge set of modern loops & samples. The bandwith of Maniac Saints´ music ranges from powerful rhythmfocused metal-songs, loopfocused midtime-songs to extreme fast double-time hammers (as fast as doubletime could be). Vocals are changing between clean and melodic lines to aggressive powervocals.

MANIAC SAINT existed in different formations. MäX met in summer 2001 the original founder Randy and their interaction became the cornerstone for Mainiac Saint. In autumn 2001 they decided to break new ground and combined classic heavy metal with new sounds. With the usage of sequenzers, they invented a new metal-mixture on their own. In january 2003 Tom joined the band and brought the long journey for a good bassman to a happy end. Since that time they wrote plenty of new, fascinating songs and played many live-gigs, national and international what have had a good influence on their musical abilities. The recent member L.X. joined Mainac Saint in january 2005. Maniac Saint are currently working on a CD production and have a rich roadmap of planned gigs and concerts.
